The Italian brand that is responsible for improving street or competition motorcycles is launching a new kit for the Vespa PX 125/150 engine.

The Cylinder with a 63-millimeter diameter has been redesigned to improve gas flow. It is available in two versions: with a standard 57-millimeter stroke with a displacement of 178cc, or the more Racing variant with an extended 60-millimeter stroke to achieve a displacement of 187cc. The customer who chooses the kit with a 60 stroke also has the advanced crankshaft available. The Cylinder is air-cooled, but thanks to the aluminum and the special fin design, the engine temperature remains lower.

The cylinder head has been prepared to have two holes for the spark plug. On one side is the classic lateral spark plug hole, similar to the original which is easier to install, and the “Racing” version with the central hole that requires a small modification to the hose plastic. Another important feature refers to the anchoring points: in addition to the 4 standard anchoring points, the Polini cylinder head incorporates 4 more that guarantee greater resistance to compression. The fins have been enlarged to achieve greater heat dissipation and the cylinder head gasket has been made of silicon steel, unlike the original Vespa, to ensure maximum resistance to compression between the cylinder head and the Cylinder.

In addition, the Cylinder and the cylinder head fit perfectly thanks to the centering pins that provide a regular squish thickness. Finally, we have the exhaust manifold in steel, machined from a block, with 4 anchoring points. In addition to providing more robustness, it optimizes the exhaust duct and at the same time improves engine cooling.

This kit, manufactured in Italy, allows you to increase the power and improve the performance of the Vespa.
