Malossi Digitronic Control Unit Aprilia SR Motard / Piaggio Typhoon 50 2T LC euro 4 >2018

The manufacturer Malossi presents the new ECU Digitronic with variable advance for Aprilia SR Motard and Piaggio Typhoon 2-Stroke 50cc Euro 4 from 2018 onwards.

Compared to the original ECU, Malossi has modified the injection timing maps and increased the rev limit to 15,000 rpm.

The new Digitronic manages the ignition advance and the SAS valve.

Ignition Advance Map

• The ignition advance is managed through a three-dimensional map by linear interpolation, which contains 16 parameterization points for RPMs and 8 parameterization points for engine temperature.

SAS Valve Performance Map

• The secondary intake valve in the injection body allows the engine management to compensate for the typical non-linearity of a carbureted engine.
• The SAS valve (Secondary Air Source) is managed by the ECU through an operating map by linear interpolation that contains 16 parameterization points for RPMs and 8 for engine temperature.
• The SAS valve reduces emissions and optimizes engine performance under all operating conditions.

Designed to be plug & play, that is, compatible with the original sensors and actuators.

The refined calibrations and organized maps allow for a concrete increase in engine performance.
