Yamaha T-Max 530 17-19 Polini air filter

Polini air filter for Yamaha T-Max 530 2017-2019.

The difference lies in the design of the filter element itself. Polini has developed a different geometry from the original that increases the effective filtration surface area, allowing the engine to benefit from a larger surface through which to draw in air. The objective is to reduce intake restriction and promote greater airflow to the engine.

In an engine such as the T-Max 530, where the intake has to feed two cylinders throughout the entire rev range, improving the filter's flow capacity helps the airbox operate with less pressure loss. This is not simply about letting air pass through unchecked, but about achieving a larger filtration surface while maintaining protection against dirt.

This makes it an especially interesting upgrade both for a standard T-Max and for units with an exhaust, variator, or other modifications, where it is important that the intake should not be a restrictive element within the overall setup.

In addition, the filter element is washable using specific cleaning products, so it can be maintained and reused instead of being replaced every time it gets dirty. This makes maintenance easier and helps extend its service life.

What does it improve compared with the original filter?

• Greater effective filtration surface area thanks to a specific geometry developed by Polini.
• Promotes greater airflow to the engine.
• Reduces the restriction that a conventional filter element can create when air demand increases.
• Washable and reusable element with specific detergents.
• Specifically designed to adapt to the intake configuration of the T-Max 530.
