Yamaha T-Max 560 >2020 Polini air filter

Polini air filter for Yamaha T-Max / Tech Max 560 from 2020 onward.

The difference lies in the design of the filter element itself. Polini has developed a different geometry from the original that increases the effective filtration surface area, allowing the engine to benefit from a larger surface area through which to draw air. The goal is to reduce intake restriction and promote greater airflow to the engine.

In an engine such as the T-Max 560, where the intake has to feed two cylinders throughout the entire rev range, improving the filter's flow capacity helps the airbox operate with less pressure loss. This is not simply about letting air through without control, but about achieving a larger filtering surface while maintaining protection against dirt.

This makes it a particularly interesting upgrade both for a standard T-Max and for units with exhaust, variator, or other modifications, where it is important that the intake should not be a restrictive element within the overall setup.

In addition, the filter element is washable using specific cleaning products, so it can be maintained and reused instead of being replaced every time it gets dirty. This makes maintenance easier and helps extend its service life.

What does it improve compared with the original filter?

• Greater effective filtration surface area thanks to a specific geometry developed by Polini.
• Promotes greater airflow to the engine.
• Reduces the restriction that a conventional filter element can generate when air demand increases.
• Washable and reusable element with specific detergents.
• Specifically designed to suit the intake configuration of the T-Max 560.
