Formula FD458G1396R Galfer brake caliper pads

Compound developed thanks to the direct collaboration of teams and riders from the world of motocross, enduro and supermotard.

The G1396R sintered racing compound is the improvement of the standard sintered compound; with these pads, improvement and their performance on asphalt are guaranteed. It is especially recommended for Formula and 8.1 calipers for competition PitBike and Scooter.

A good brake pad break-in provides better braking and prevents them from crystallizing. It is extremely important for all compounds to properly break in the brake pads.

The correct break-in of the brake pads: is done by a series of gentle brakings, holding the brake lever for 10-15 seconds, and then releasing the brake to cool the disc and pads, and repeating this action 5 or 6 times.

This achieves a correct thermal cycle and heating, cooling of the system, and subsequently better braking.
