A good brake pad break-in provides better braking, and prevents glazing. It is extremely important for all compounds to properly break in the brake pads.

The correct break-in of the brake pads: is done by a series of gentle brakings holding the brake lever for 10-15 sec. and then releasing the brake to cool the disc and pads, and repeat this action 5 or 6 times.
This achieves a correct thermal cycle and heating, cooling of the system and subsequently better braking.
