The new MHR REMOVABLE CYLINDER HEAD thermal groups are the natural evolution of the MHR MALOSSI line. The research of its technicians has been decisive in the victories of official national and European teams in cross and speed trophies. Malossi is pleased to be able to guarantee all riders wishing to participate in National and European trophies a product of the highest level, performance, and quality to reach the top of the podium.
CYLINDER Material: special aluminium alloy with a high percentage of silicon and titanium, which guarantees a high degree of dimensional stability at high temperatures. With special heat treatment and stabilisation, which gives the material high strength and rigidity, ensuring the consistency of mechanical and dimensional characteristics up to temperatures of 250º C.
 The definition of the exhaust and transfer diagram is the result of significant effort by our technicians on the static test bench and its application in races and competitions.
PISTON The aluminium alloy material with a high percentage of silicon is used to guarantee high heat resistance and dimensional stability against temperature variations. Tin coating ensures a very low coefficient of friction, for maximum acceleration.
Reinforced to withstand the demands placed on a thermal group for top-level competition, while at the same time maintaining remarkable lightness in order to reduce inertial force.
CYLINDER HEAD The removable Malossi cylinder head is expressly designed to guarantee the elimination of the considerable amount of heat generated in a high specific power engine intended for competition.
The combustion chamber has been entirely manufactured with numerically controlled machines in order to guarantee dimensional and shape tolerance to one hundredth of a millimetre. The removable cylinder head system is completed with a cover that closes the upper part of the cylinder, ensuring that the coolant content is maintained.
The geometry and cross-section of the combustion chamber for this thermal group have been studied and specially designed for use in the Scooter Speed Trophies and Scooter Cross Trophy.
