In internal combustion engines (ICE), the air-fuel ratio is fundamental so that all the fuel can be used efficiently.
In fact, it is the amount of oxygen present in the cylinder that determines how much fuel will be burned, while the excess will be eliminated through the exhaust valve.

By installing the oxygen sensor (Lambda) in the exhaust path, the A/F RATIO METER will instantly display the air-fuel ratio (ideally 14.7 for gasoline) and indicate whether the fuel mixture is too rich (R) or too lean (L).

It is ideal for tuning the injection!
