Reed valve Malossi VL17 Minarelli AM6 / Derbi euro 2 / 3 / 4

Reed box for Malossi VL17 reeds suitable for both AM6 engines and Derbi E2-E4 engines.

The Malossi Hyper Racing (MHR) series offers us the MHR VL17 reed box made with carbon fiber reeds.

The reed box is composed of two reeds. Malossi has designed the reed box for the most tuned engines.
Manufactured with the best materials and modified until achieving the best performance.

If we want to tune an engine, we must remember that the most important thing is the intake of the gasoline/air mixture, and Malossi has introduced this fantastic reed box compatible with AM6 and Derbi geared engines.


Once we install this reed box, we can combine it with a larger carburetor and thus achieve an optimal mixture flow. This way, you will notice the increase in power.

The Malossi VL17 brings us the famous Venturi, designed with a recalculated angle and flow section to improve the air mixture.
When you want to install the VL17 reed box, you will need to machine the crankcase to make the most of the box

NOTE YOU WILL NEED TO MACHINE THE CRANKCASE SLIGHTLY TO INSTALL THE REED BOX

Malossi VL17 includes 0.30mm thick reeds. Malossi also offers replacement reeds with different thicknesses (ref. 2714402.C0)

WE RECOMMEND Installing a larger carburetor along with a larger intake manifold, in order to enrich both the air and gasoline intake and improve the mixture.
