Technical description

Gear crankcase for scooter and for Minarelli Yamaha 50 cc engines, designed for competition and for sporty customisation of standard vehicles.

Malossi, in a complete overhaul of the transmission components, has drastically reduced friction by replacing the original pre-cast crankcase with sliding friction movements, with a gravity-cast crankcase accompanied by special bearings.

This robust and lightweight crankcase, manufactured with super-precision machinery, is capable of withstanding very high workloads typical of competition.

Perfectly interchangeable with the original and complete with all accessories, the Roller Crankcase allows friction to be reduced by 4%.

Technical features and components

• Reinforced gear housing in silicon-aluminium alloy, gravity cast, refined and tempered.
• Locations of the larger secondary shafts to house no. 2 special bearing bushings - 1 ball bearing with increased load - 1 oil seal.

Note: compatible with Malossi and original secondary gears.
