The "V" compound is a combination of "semi-sintered" brake pad that brings together all the best qualities of an organic pad with the durability of its sintered equivalent.
It will give you good braking without heating up the discs, with great durability thanks to the kevlar in this pad.

A good brake pad break-in provides better braking and prevents them from becoming glazed. It is extremely important for all compounds to properly break in the brake pads.
The correct break-in of the brake pads: is done through a series of gentle brakings holding the brake lever for 10-15 seconds, and then releasing the brake to cool the disc and pads, repeating this action 5 or 6 times.
This achieves a proper thermal cycle and heating, cooling of the system, and subsequently better braking.
