The gear engagement cross is one of the most important parts of the engine; if it is not in perfect condition, the gear shift does not work as it should.

The coupling teeth must be superficially very hard to resist wear from sliding, but at the same time they must have very high strength to withstand the impacts to which the transmission is subjected.

The complex geometry of the small frame models requires very careful manufacturing to achieve low roughness on the coupling cam of the gears. The mechanical characteristics, clearly superior to the original, make it indispensable for modified engines.
