The manufacturer Malossi presents to us the key part for optimal tuning. The HTQ gears, with straight teeth.

Straight-toothed gears reduce friction and optimize the transmission of torque.

With the new secondary gears SECOND ROLLER GEAR, Malossi's technicians have achieved the goal of minimizing power loss due to friction inside the reduction box and ensure a lower loss due to oscillations.

Thus achieving the transfer of all the engine's power directly to the wheel. These are higher quality transmissions, suitable for competitions.

It is necessary to have a longer transmission to extend the transmission ratio. Original cylinders do not have enough power for a longer transmission, which is why we recommend combining this transmission with a Mid Race or Competition setup.

Attention! We recommend that you check which transmission you need.

• For lightly tuned engines or Sport / Mid Race setups you can use the following gear ratios: 13/44 (Lengthens by 15.50%)

• For highly tuned engines or Mid Race / Competition setups we recommend the following gear ratios: 14/42 (Lengthens by 25.00%)

• In case of extreme setups or only for competition use, we recommend installing the following ratios: 16/40 (Lengthens 60.00%)

If in doubt, if you are not sure which is the ideal transmission for your setup, contact us.

An excessively long transmission could cause the setup to lose all its power and you would not be able to get the maximum performance from the engine.
