Compounds:

Front

• The hard layer, due to its high silica content and low Tg, offers exceptional grip in cold and wet conditions. The softer side layer (which is engaged at lean angles above 35°) provides excellent grip and outstanding contact feel. Combined, this gives the rider the option to adjust the line when cornering or delay braking before leaning in.

Dual compound rear, up to 190/50 ZR 17:

• The full-silica dual compound rear offers quick warm-up, a significant level of grip regardless of lean angle (even in wet conditions), and smooth ride quality. In relation to the tyre size and therefore the contact patch, a dual compound with less compound ensures the best stress distribution and thus provides a consistent riding feel and even wear.

Three-compound rear, from 190/55 ZR 17: 

• By introducing an endurance racing compound, the 5-zone design shifts the trade-off at high lean angles from wet grip to drive thrust to handle the extreme cornering speeds and the astonishing engine power of modern high-performance motorcycles. The smooth silica rubber strip in the center ensures performance while providing safe sporty riding in all weather conditions.
