The Polini Maxi Hi-Speed variator is designed to get more response from the engine; its work is in the transmission: it improves progression, makes the engine rev more decisively, and allows the behavior to be adjusted thanks to the 2 sets of 28x20 rollers included, weighing 22 g and 26 g.

The bushing is made of special nickel-chromium steel, case-hardened, tempered, and ground. Inside, it incorporates a cavity that acts as a grease reservoir, with a spring responsible for maintaining more consistent lubrication even under demanding use.

The roller tracks feature a polishing treatment to promote sliding, while the rollers use a blend of nylon and aramid fibers, designed to better withstand transmission work in large-displacement scooters.
