PMT Tyres is an Italian manufacturer of tyres designed for competition. Its history begins in the 1980s when Alessandro Pauselli started participating in radio-controlled car races, triumphing in the Junior regional championship of Lazio. They began developing tyres with the clear objective of “going one step further” in competition, which led to the birth of the PMT brand.
Over the years, PMT made the leap to motorcycling, offering tyres in 6.5” for minimoto, 10/12” used in scooters, pitbikes and minigp, and 17" for racing motorcycles.

In its catalogue, we find some very popular models in current competition:

BLACKFIRE, semi-slick tyre available in 3 different compounds. Hard, with slower wear, ideal for endurance races and tracks with very high temperatures. Medium, the preferred compound for Scooter races, the ideal balance between grip and durability. Soft, grip above all, soft compound to achieve victory.

SLICK, focused on competitions where the regulations allow the use of treadless tyres. Available in 3 compounds: hard, medium and soft, just like the blackfire but with extra grip.

RAIN, the tyre par excellence for races in the rain. An optimal blend of the compound together with a perfected tread make this tyre one of the best for competing on wet tracks or in heavy rain.
