Polini History

The manufacturer Polini began its exploits in the motor world in 1945 thanks to its founder Battista Polini. Battista Polini returned from the front lines and opened a small workshop specializing in the construction of bicycles.

Times change, but the philosophy and passion that drive the Polini family remain unchanged: the continuous search for new solutions to ensure ever-better engine performance, with the highest possible safety and reliability. It is also thanks to this commitment that Polini has become a world leader in the design and production of special parts for scooters and maxi scooters.

From the 1990s onwards, Polini launched a new project and began manufacturing a series of minibikes, authentic miniature Grand Prix motorcycles.

In 1997, Polini introduced a new line of Minicross with 2-stroke engines that have accompanied the races of numerous MXGP and MX2 champions from the very beginning.
