This charger allows for advanced maintenance for 12v batteries. Optimate 2 increases the lifespan and improves the performance of 12V batteries in vehicles that are not used daily, even in sub-zero temperatures. OptiMate 2 detects the state of the battery, recharges it and keeps it available at 100%, and supplies power to the anti-theft alarm, display, onboard computer, etc. The OptiMate maintenance program supplies only what the battery needs, never overcharges nor leaves it half-charged.
