Ceramic brake pads for 8.1 caliper / Formula 4 pistons Ottopuntouno

From the Italian manufacturer Ottopuntouno, we present the Ceramic brake pads for 8.1 calipers and Formula 4 pistons.

They consist of a special “Ceramic” compound sintered for very high temperatures. Free from any surface vitrification, they guarantee maximum performance during use.

For the 8.1 "Hurricane" and "New Era" brake calipers and the Formula 4 piston calipers, suitable for intensive sports use.

A good brake pad bedding-in provides better braking and prevents crystallization. It is extremely important for all compounds to perform a proper bedding-in of the brake pads.

The correct bedding-in of the brake pads: is done by performing a series of gentle brakings, holding the brake lever for 10-15 seconds and then releasing the brake to cool the disc and pads, repeating this action 5 or 6 times.

This achieves a correct thermal cycle and heating, cooling of the system, and subsequently better braking.
