The Power Jet system provides extra fuel at high revs, based on a small jet that injects this extra fuel as if it were a turbo.
The power jet system is simple yet ingenious. It is a channel that runs from the carburettor bowl (the part of the carburettor that holds fuel) to the intake itself, that is, to the air suction area of the carburettor.

The higher the engine revs, the more air enters the carburettor, generating a strong vacuum within the power jet circuit that causes a small amount of fuel from the bowl to rise through the channel to the carburettor's air intake. This air + fuel mixture enters the engine atomised and provides extra performance at high revs, increasing top speed, throttle response, and power.
