Carter X1 rotary valve Vespa smallframe VMC.

The evolution of preparations in the Vespa world is in constant development. Vmc has decided to produce this crankcase in order to offer great component reliability.

Made of cast aluminium, with all operations carried out on high-precision CNC. 

Technical specifications:

• Innovative system of removable gear cable connection
• Greater thickness of the walls at the most critical points
• Very large cylinder base to allow proper alignment of the transfers without possible wall perforation
• Cylinder skirt housing machined to 64.5mm
• Rotary valve extended compared to the original
• Crankshaft chamber machined to Ø 89.5, "rod groove" to Ø 92
• Crankcase closure with direct-threaded metric 6 screws, includes two centering pins
• In the internal selector area, it has extra machining to allow the installation of reinforced couplings
• Flywheel side bearing type NU204 (47mm)
• Compatible with 3.50 x10 tyres
• Fits all Piaggio-type internals
• The stator plate requires adaptations in the transfer area
