The Malossi CDI units allow you to eliminate the rev limiter that is present in the standard CDI units (the limiter can be installed using the appropriate switch): in this way, you can fully take advantage of the engine's power and torque, even at higher speeds, up to 20,000 revolutions per minute.

The Malossi CDI units are of capacitive discharge type and therefore minimise the emission of interference during voltage discharge, provide an almost perfect voltage peak at the ignition spark plug (35,000-50,000 volts depending on engine speed), and also deliver very high discharge voltages and currents with remarkable consistency as the engine speed varies.
