CDI unit unrestricted Stage6 Rieju / Beta / Sherco Euro 4-5

Stage6 unrestricted CDI unit for 50cc motorcycles with Minarelli AM6 Euro 4 and Euro 5 engines, compatible with models from Rieju, Beta, Sherco, Fantic, Peugeot, and Vent.

On some 50cc motorcycles, the stock CDI unit may cut the ignition at around 7,500 rpm. This is not a major issue with a completely original setup, but when you start fitting a Sport exhaust, Sport cylinder, or other performance parts, the engine may hit the cutoff just when it should still be revving higher.

The Stage6 unrestricted CDI unit removes this restriction, allowing the engine to make use of a wider RPM range and get better performance from the rest of the setup. The final improvement will always depend on the cylinder, exhaust, carburetor, and engine tuning fitted to the motorcycle.

It is also a good option if you simply want to derestrict a 50cc motorcycle while keeping the original engine or replace a damaged stock control unit.

Plug & Play installation

Important: after removing the RPM limit, it is recommended to check the carburetion and engine tuning. A different exhaust or cylinder may require changes to the main jet and other adjustments so that the engine runs correctly and does not run lean.

Note for Beta RR: installing this CDI unit may deactivate the handlebar kill switch. In that case, to switch off the engine it will be necessary to turn the ignition key to the OFF position.
