The Doppler clutch pulley from the Open range introduces innovative technology for automatic transmission systems. Instead of traditional centrifugal jaws, it uses a set of clutch discs similar to those found in higher displacement motorcycles, while remaining fully automatic. This configuration ensures greater efficiency and a more compact structure.

The start is performed by a pin system with three positions distributed at 120°, reducing the distance needed to begin movement. Once in motion, the system is automatically deactivated by centrifugal force. This design dispenses with the freewheel bushing, using bearings instead, which offers two main advantages: 

• Feature: Allows the vehicle to be moved in both directions without needing to start the engine
• Benefit: Reduction of play-induced slack
