The BRK Racing Cylinder 74cc is a direct evolution from Barikit's competition experience, designed to transform the performance of the legendary Derbi Variant Start engine (pedal and Start 5 versions). This high-performance cylinder is made entirely of aluminium with an internal nicasil coating, ensuring excellent heat dissipation and superior durability compared to iron cylinders.

Technically, it is a very advanced cylinder. Its 47.6mm diameter, combined with the engine's original stroke, increases the actual displacement to 74cc. The internal layout is purely racing: it features 6 load transfers of generous size that optimise the filling of the cylinder and an exhaust port with two additional boosters. This configuration allows for extremely fast gas evacuation, which is essential for reaching high revs and high power. The kit is completed with a single-ring piston, which minimises friction, and a new blue graphite finish that improves lubrication during running-in and reduces the risk of seizure. It is important to note that, due to its competition-oriented design, this cylinder does not include a cylinder head and must be installed with the BRK cylinder head ø47.6mm, as it is not compatible with the standard one.
