Digital RPM gauge / Hour meter from manufacturer AllPro.

Multifunction gauge from AllPro with tachometer up to 25,000 RPM, hour meter, voltmeter, and two maintenance alarms. With this gauge, you can see in real time the revolutions, working hours, and voltage, with programmable alerts so you don't get stranded or over-rev the engine.

It is designed with two power supply systems:

· Internal CR2450 battery (540mAh): keeps data in memory and the clock running.

· Direct connection to the battery (8V-30V): allows voltage measurement, activates backlighting, and red visual alerts.

What does it do exactly?

• Measures RPM in real time with a refresh every 0.5 seconds and stores the maximum reached
• Alerts with a red screen if you over-rev
• Measures battery voltage (8V-30V) with programmable low voltage alarm
• Total hour counter (TOT) that cannot be reset
• Two resettable partial counters (JOB and JOB1) to measure trips or work sessions
• Two independent maintenance alarms (SVC and SVC1) with countdown from 0 to 250 hours for oil change, filters, or inspection
• 24-hour clock

How is it installed?

• Yellow wire (signal): wrap 4-5 turns around the spark plug wire and secure with a cable tie. On engines with coil-on-plug (pencil coil), wrap directly over the plastic part of the coil
• Red wire: connects to the positive terminal of the battery (enables voltage measurement and backlight activation)
• Black wire: connects to the negative terminal or any ground point on the chassis
• Tip: If the RPM is lower than normal, add more turns (6-10)
• Tip: If the RPM is too high, remove turns (2-4)

Engine configuration (Firing Patterns): to ensure accurate RPM, choose the pattern according to your engine:

• 1P1R: 2-Stroke 1 cylinder / 4-Stroke 2 cylinders (1 spark per revolution)
• 1P2R: 4-Stroke 1 cylinder – the most common in scooters and street bikes (1 spark every 2 revolutions)
• 2P1R: 4-Stroke 4 cylinders / 2-Stroke 2 cylinders (2 sparks per revolution)

Display and customization:

• DSP-1: classic mode, ideal for viewing total hours
• DSP-2: modular mode, you choose whether the main screen shows hours, RPM, or voltage
• Backlight: L-Auto (turns on when a button is pressed), L-ON (always on, higher consumption), L-OFF (always off)
• Total shutdown: press MENU and SET simultaneously until it displays OFF – ideal for long periods of inactivity. It wakes up automatically when the engine starts

How to operate:

• MENU: switches screen (TOT → JOB → JOB1 → SVC → SVC1 → MAX RPM → RPM Alert → Firing Pattern → VOLT → MAX VOLT → VOLT Alert → CLOCK → Backlight)
• SET (hold): resets JOB, JOB1, MAX RPM, or MAX VOLT
• SET (hold) on alarm screen: enters value setting, MENU changes the number, SET confirms
• MENU + SET (2 seconds): saves and exits any menu
