The clutch discs are responsible for transmitting the engine's power to the gearbox through friction. With prolonged use, these discs wear out and lose their grip, causing slippage, loss of acceleration, and irregular engine behavior.

When the clutch starts to slip or it becomes difficult to engage gears, it is time to replace the discs. It is also recommended to change the spacers (metal discs) and check the condition of the clutch springs.
