Ignition rotor MHR Team II adjustable from the manufacturer Malossi for Minarelli AM6 / Derbi engines.

Malossi has manufactured the MHR Team II ignition with an adjustable and tunable control unit for different engines.

The new Malossi ignitions have been improved to the maximum to concentrate the best technology applicable to competition.
They are capable of reaching more than 10,000 RPM, and together with the control unit developed by Malossi, they can guarantee spark efficiency, unlike older models.
The MHR Team II control unit has been developed with a uP STM8-8 microprocessor with a processing capacity of over 20 MIPS (million instructions per second), equipped with variable advance and 3 Trimmers:

1. (MAPS) to determine the map in advance
2. (OFFSET) allows us to change the desired map by +0 - 2º
3. (LIM) RPM limiter variation (from 11,500 to 14,3000 rpm + limiter excluded) indicated especially for 4-stroke engines.

It also features 8 preset maps, divided into:

• 1 map for 4T engines with variable advance
• 6 maps for 2T engines with variable advance
• 1 map with fixed advance

The high-voltage coil of the MHR Team II ignition has been improved in every aspect, designed to be able to deliver a maximum discharge voltage of >40 KV for regimes of >3000 RPM and an extraordinary rise of 10Bar>17
50 V/uS.
The electrical performance has been improved by +/- 20%, minimum regime reduction from 450 RPM to 370 RPM.
The ignition and stator have been manufactured with the best materials and tested on the best circuits in Italy until the desired performance was achieved.
The main modifications we can see in the ignition are:

• Reduction of the stator part weight by approximately 30%, -100g total
• Optimization of the magnetic path
• Electrical performance improved by +20%
• Monolithic high-permeability magnetic circuit
• Rotor Ø 58 with Neodymium magnets
• Automotive-grade wiring
• IP67 certified waterproof connector

In the assembly instructions all the graphs with adjusted advances for different engines will be provided.
