Perfect gauge for engine tuning. The EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature) shows the temperature directly from the exhaust gases.

It should be noted that the exhaust gas temperature is directly related to the combustion temperature. Therefore, the EGT-Meter indicates the actual cylinder temperature almost without delay. A jet that is too large makes the engine run very rich, whereas with a jet that is too small the engine tends to overheat (white spark plug). We recommend a jet with which, at the end of a long straight, the EGT-meter indicates a temperature of 650°C.

With competition components, the temperature can also be above this value, but that can cause the cylinder to seize.

The EGT-Meter gauge can measure and indicate from 0°-1200°C.
