It features side lubricators that facilitate efficient lubrication, an opening in the rear skirt that optimises cylinder scavenging and filling, and a low domed cap that helps improve pre-compression within the cylinder.

In addition, the piston is equipped with a reinforced pin of 12 mm diameter, ensuring durability and resistance under demanding operating conditions. The crab-type clips, also reinforced, provide secure fastening of the pin, while the two thin chrome steel segments of 1.5 mm thickness maximise oil retention and minimise friction.
