The RB Max crankshaft is a direct replacement for the original Honda 13000-KWN-900, with a 13 mm shaft, designed to replace the crankshaft when it shows wear, metallic noises, or seizure due to lack of lubrication or excessive temperature.

The crankshaft can be affected by problems such as seizure due to lack of oil, oil pump failure, or excessive temperature caused by a Thermostat stuck or a broken fan. When the Connecting rod bearing runs dry, the engine may produce metallic noises and seize. When installing the new crankshaft, it is also recommended to check the oil pump and the cooling system to ensure the durability of the replacement part.
