A good bedding-in of the brake pads provides better braking, and prevents them from glazing.

It is extremely important for all compounds to properly bed in the brake pads.

 
The correct bedding-in of the brake pads: is carried out through a series of gentle brakings holding the brake lever for 10-15 sec. and then stop braking to cool the disc and pads, and repeat this action, 5 or 6 times.

 
This achieves a correct thermal and heating cycle, cooling of the system and subsequently better braking.
