The manufacturer Malossi presents this rear shock absorber RS24/10-R for Yamaha T-Max 530 >17.

The rear shock absorber RS24/10-R consists of a single body traversed by a newly designed hydraulic circuit that allows all adjustments to be integrated while maintaining the same dimensions as the original shock absorber, without reducing the overall sizing of the hydraulic brake.

It has 4 adjustments:

• Wheelbase adjustment: Rotate to modify the height of the rear brake - 2mm + 8mm compared to the original.
• Extension adjustment: To vary the brake during the re-opening phase of the shock absorber after it has been compressed.
• Spring preload adjustment: To increase or decrease the “initial” load of the shock absorber and thus determine greater or lesser initial stiffness of the system.
• Compression adjustment:To manage the brake during the closing of the shock absorber and vary its behavior in relation to the roughness of the terrain. It is possible to set a stiffer, more stable sports configuration or a softer, more comfortable touring configuration.

The RS24/10-R is equipped with two nitrogen reservoirs for rod compensation. This system allows you to completely modify the load curves depending on the pressure of each chamber, that is, the movement modes during the compression and extension phases, and guarantees greater compactness of the shock absorber compared to the system with a single external reservoir, lower friction, and greater heat dissipation produced by the operation of the system.
