The factory shock absorber on the Honda MSX 125 falls short as soon as you ask it for anything beyond calm urban use. Over time it loses pressure, the preload becomes stiff, and the rear transmits every irregularity in the asphalt directly to the rider's body. On a motorcycle as light and lively as the MSX, this is noticeable even on short trips.

The YSS Gas Plus Line uses gas emulsion technology, which maintains consistent damping against temperature variations and normal wear. Its 30 mm piston and 12 mm rod provide solid internal dimensions, all assembled in a robust and durable aluminum housing that withstands daily use with ease.

The main change when installing it lies in the continuously adjustable spring preload by means of a threaded rod, with a secure lock once adjusted. The 115 N/mm spring, 150 mm in length and 46 mm in diameter, in red, adapts to the rider's weight and type of use. The overall length of 250 mm with 10 mm eye upper and 10 mm eye lower mountings replicates the original geometry, so the motorcycle retains its behavior without changing anything else.

The YSS Gas Plus Line includes the adjustment tool in the package, and its model-specific design allows for direct installation, with no additional adjustments. It is an economical alternative to the original that restores the reliability and precision the MSX 125 calls for from the factory.
