The factory shock absorber on the Yamaha RD 350 YPVS falls short when you demand more from it: aggressive cornering, riding the ideal line at the limit, or simply riding with extra weight because the original suspension can no longer cope. Over time, pressure loss and the lack of adjustability turn the rear suspension into an unpredictable component that limits riding performance.

The YSS Top Line is a gas-pressure shock absorber with a CNC-machined aluminum body, lighter and more durable than the stock unit. Its external compensation reservoir keeps the oil temperature under control, resulting in consistent damping even under intensive use, without the hydraulic fade typical of original shock absorbers.

Where the real difference is noticeable is in the adjustments. This YSS Top Line offers 30 clicks of rebound and 30 clicks of compression to fine-tune the response with maximum precision, along with variable spring preload and adjustable length +/- 5 mm. The red spring with rate 115 (150 mm long and 46 mm in diameter) adapts to the rider's weight and the type of use. The 36 mm piston and the 16 mm rod work precisely so that the rear wheel maintains contact with the asphalt at all times.

Installation is direct, with no need for modifications or additional adjustments. It is specifically designed to fit the mounting points of the RD 350 YPVS: upper mounting with a 12 mm eye and lower mounting with a 20 mm eye. You replace the original and notice the change from the very first ride.
