Spark plug NGK Nickel Alloy long thread BR10EG, curved electrode (Aprilia, Honda, KTM)

The NGK iridium spark plugs currently represent the highest quality technical solution.
They have an iridium alloy tip on the central electrode, which is welded in a special process using a laser. Iridium is one of the hardest metals in the world, melts at 2450 ºC and is highly resistant to spark erosion; these are the spark plugs used in MotoGP and Formula 1. This material allows the lifespan of standard spark plugs to be doubled.

Furthermore, the precious metal allows the central electrode to be considerably thinner (0.6 mm thick), significantly reducing the required ignition voltage and helping to improve the distribution of the flame front in the combustion chamber.
