Handy Easyboost Crankshaft seals installer for Minarelli scooter 50 2T.

Installing the seals oil seals by hitting them in with a wooden block or with a pipe that isn’t the right one is the fastest way to damage the crankcase housing or drive the seal in crooked. Then it starts to leak oil or, worse, suck air on the Variator side and the bike runs poorly without you finding the reason.

This Easyboost is made of PA66 polyamide, a material that is hard but won’t scratch the crankcase aluminum. It has a step that stops when the seal reaches its exact position, the same as stock. It works for the Variator side and, if you turn it around, also for the Magnetic flywheel side. You strike it with a rubber mallet and the seal ends up straight and at the correct depth on the first try.
