This Polini Hi-Speed variator significantly improves the acceleration of the QJ Motor SQ16 125 scooter. Its polished ramp technology helps deliver power more linearly and directly from a standstill, reducing dead time in the response of the original transmission of Euro 5 engines.

The rollers supplied in this transmission kit measure 20x17 and weigh 7.5 grams, and are made from a low-wear compound of nylon and aramid fibers. In addition, the ground chromed steel pin reduces the coefficient of friction, promoting constant sliding of the movable pulley even under high operating temperatures.

To complement the assembly, a contrast spring with a rating 5% firmer than the original is included, which prevents the belt from slipping. The half-pulley of this variator for 125cc features modified inclination angles that extend the travel of the drive belt, helping to achieve more consistent speed progression throughout the entire rev range.
