Reed valve Malossi VL6 Karbonit Minarelli AM6 / Derbi euro 2 / 3 / 4

Reed box of Malossi VL6 reeds suitable for both AM6 engines and Derbi E2-E4 engines.

The Malossi Hyper Racing (MHR) series offers us the MHR VL6 reed box made with reeds of karbonit and carbon fibers.

The reed box is composed of two reeds forming 4 petals.

If we want to prepare an engine, we must consider that the most important thing is the intake of the gasoline/air mixture, and Malossi has presented us with this fabulous reed box compatible with AM6 engines and Derbi geared engines.


Once we install this reed box, we can combine it with a larger carburetor and thus achieve an optimal mixture flow. This way, we will notice the increase in power.

The VL6 by Malossi brings us the famous Venturi, designed with a recalculated angle and flow section for the improvement of the air mixture.
When we want to install the VL6 reed box, it is not necessary to change any other part, as it is designed to replace the original one directly.

Malossi VL6 includes 0.3mm thick reeds. Malossi also offers replacement reeds with different thicknesses (ref. 275614.C0)
Without a doubt, it is one of the best options for both original and prepared engines!

WE RECOMMEND installing a larger carburetor, in order to enrich both the air and gasoline intake and improve the mixture.
