VMC competition tether with quick disconnect brake

The VMC Quick Release Kit includes a quick-disconnect connector that allows you to disconnect and reconnect the caliper or the brake master cylinder in seconds, without needing to bleed the system every time. It is the same system used on endurance racing motorcycles, where every minute in the pits counts.

Installing a hose of this type changes brake behavior. The three-layer steel braided hose does not expand under pressure like the original rubber hose. All the force you apply at the lever or pedal goes directly to the caliper, without losses. The feel becomes firm and repeatable, and braking remains consistent even when the system heats up.

The Quick Release connector adds a practical advantage: you can remove the caliper or the master cylinder without draining the system or bleeding it again. On the track or in the pits, that saves time, which is often what separates a good session from a bad one.
