Unique design of the VForce reed valve system features twice the tip surface area of the reed compared to a conventional reed valve design. This has two main benefits:

1) The reed petals only travel half the distance compared to a conventional reed valve design to achieve the same airflow.

2) Because the reed petals only need to travel half the distance compared to a conventional reed valve design, there is a greater chance that they open fully, as well as a better opportunity for sealing when they are "closed", achieving more horsepower, and a notable change in throttle response.
