For starting up and charging the Battery with acid:
You just have to remove the plugs from the Battery tubes (top part), fill it with acid, wait two hours (without putting the plugs back), then clean any acid that has come out with paper or a cloth and put the plugs back on.
And depending on the Battery, it is already ready to use.
You need to connect the positive red and negative black, and start the motorcycle; the same ride will feed the Battery. Some people prefer to charge it before use to ensure the Battery is at 100% of its charge.
