Boyesen Reeds KTM 65 SX 98-08 / KTM 50 Pro LC 01-08

The Boyesen system consists of 4 reeds made of fiberglass.

The smallest ones are those located at the top, and these are usually thinner to improve acceleration and engine filling at low revolutions.

The thicker ones, on the other hand, operate at high revolutions to provide greater flow to the engine.

With this system, greater efficiency is achieved, with a much faster and more energetic power delivery at all engine speeds.
