Competition filters have a much larger surface area than original filters, which improves cylinder filling.

The intake sound is louder. You should increase the size of the main jet of the carburettor a little, so that the mixture does not become too lean.

Choose between the short version (92mm) and the long version (118mm).

It is recommended to moisten the air filter with filter oil every time you clean the filter, so that no dirt enters the inside of the engine.

Check the size of the inlet of your carburettor to choose the correct diameter.

36mm for Dellorto 12-17 and Amal 17-21 carburettors.
