Metrakit Crankcase Pro Race engine Derbi euro 3-4.

After months of development and testing on the bench and on tracks, the Metrakit Pro Race crankcase arrives, designed specifically for high-level setups on Derbi Euro 3 and Euro 4 crankcases. Manufactured from high-strength cast aluminium, it is optimised to withstand mechanical demands far greater than those of a standard engine, without compromising reliability.

The design is based on the original crankcase, but with key modifications that make it ideal both for extreme street setups and for competition use. Unlike OEM crankcases, which begin to suffer structural fatigue and deformation with engines over 30-35 HP, the Pro Race withstands power outputs close to 40 HP thanks to its structural reinforcement and new geometry.

Among its main technical advantages are:

• Oversized needle bearing for the balance shaft
• More space for large carburettors
• Accepts crankshafts of greater diameter
• Prepared for Ø14 mm swingarm shaft: simply drill, without opening the crankcase.
• Elimination of the starter motor
• Compatible with all original Derbi Euro 3 and 4 components, allowing you to keep many OEM parts.
• Accepts V-Force 3 and 4R type reeds
• Oversized crankshaft bearings not included ref. 975C01C3 
• Improved thermal conductivity
