Metrakit

Around the 1970s, Paco Tombas, together with Jordi Salanova and Josep Gurri, founded the company Metrakit in Barcelona. A brand that, in its beginnings, focused its production on manufacturing kits to enhance scooters and street motorcycles. Over the years, Metrakit participated in a large number of national and international motorcycle championships. Around the year 2000, Metrakit began manufacturing competition motorcycles for the youngest riders, leading a true revolution in the children's motorcycle sector with the production of three new models: Mini GP50, GP70, and GP80, and also the creation of a new category, the PreGP125. Grand Prix motorcycles on a small scale for the youngest members of the motorcycling family on the circuits. All this experience was directly transferred to its products such as: cylinders, crankshafts, clutches, exhausts... achieving high-quality, powerful, and reliable competition material.
