The Metrakit V4R reed valve is a technical evolution designed to maximize intake flow in high-performance engines. Thanks to its new aerodynamic tip shape, air enters at higher speed, which improves immediate throttle response.

By using pre-curved carbon fiber petals, the sealing is much tighter than in a conventional reed valve, preventing pre-compression losses in the crankcase and allowing the engine to pull harder throughout the entire rev range.

For this 4R version, a rubber coating has been added to the contact surface to cushion the impact of the reeds, which increases the lifespan of the carbon petals and ensures a perfect seal even after many hours of use. It is the key replacement part for those looking to maximize intake, gaining that extra 10% surface area that makes the difference in competition setups.
