This DMP 70cc cylinder is the key part to completely transform the performance of your Puch Maxi. By moving from the standard 50cc to a 45mm diameter, the engine gains a notable amount of torque at low revs, allowing the bike to recover much better and maintain speed on climbs.

It is made of aluminium with Nikasil coating, which is a critical improvement over the original iron cylinder. Aluminium dissipates heat much more efficiently, preventing mechanical fatigue.

The 6 transfer port design optimises gas flow to the combustion chamber. This allows the engine to rev higher and increase RPM with a liveliness that the original cylinder cannot offer, achieving a much fuller and more direct throttle response throughout the entire power range.

To develop more power and make the most of this cylinder’s potential, it is necessary to install a exhaust, reeds and a larger diameter carburettor.
