Ignition coil / CDI unit ignition Ducati 6-pole Minarelli AM6 / Derbi Metrakit Pro Race

Ignition coil / CDI unit Metrakit Pro Race for 6-pole Ducati ignitions, compatible with Minarelli AM6 and Derbi engines.

When you tune an engine, not everything depends on the cylinder, carburetor, or exhaust. The ignition also plays a key role, as it determines the exact moment when the spark occurs and, therefore, how combustion is used throughout the RPM range.

This Metrakit Pro Race control unit has been specifically developed to offer an advanced ignition map, defined after bench, roller, and track testing.
Compared with an original CDI unit, the design optimizes the entire ignition curve, which means you will get an engine with better throttle response, quicker rev build-up, and a higher RPM limit.

What does it add to a tuned setup?

• Specific ignition map developed to improve engine operation.
• Better use of the ignition on engines with a tuned cylinder, exhaust, and carburetion.
• Cleaner and more progressive response as RPM rises.
• Design intended for sport and Racing use.
• Simple installation using the original connectors.
